Description

We are seeking an associate veterinarian to add to our team! Kohn Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice in the North Shore area of Chicagoland. We have a lovely dedicated clientele and a long-standing team of superb support staff. We have all the standard equipment you would hope for in a general practice- digital rads, digital dental rads, tonovet, doppler, Companion laser, in-house lab analyzers, Imagyst, Bionet anesthesia monitors, cloud-based software (Pulse),  etc. etc. etc.! We see exotic pets but this is not a requirement for our veterinarians.  We are lucky enough to be located near numerous ERs, urgent cares and specialty hospitals.. which means no on call and no weekend hours! New graduates considered but experience is preferred. 

Compensation includes salaried pay (range $110,000-155,000 depending on experience level), PTO, paid CE, paid dues/ licenses, 401K with 3% match and health/ dental insurance. 

Requirements

Our ideal candidate is confident in both medicine and surgery. We are seeking ideally a full time veterinarian but part-time or 3/4 time would be considered if desired. Candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Illinois. Candidates must also be willing to put up with our food-stealing clinic cat.
