Description
Waukee-Clive Veterinary Clinic in Clive, Iowa is hiring a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team! Our 5 doctor team has various interests and experience and enjoys mentoring and supporting each other.Waukee-Clive Veterinary Clinic is a full-service, small animal practice that treats dogs, cats, and exotics/pocket pets. We moved into our current building in 2007, and fully remodeled our practice a few years ago. All 8 of our exam rooms are equipped with computers, 5 have lift tables, and 1 exam room is cat-friendly. Our rooms also have credit card terminals, enabling clients to check out in the room. We are paperless, using AVImark for our electronic medical records. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house lab, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography.
Our doctors are comfortable with routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, which are performed Monday through Friday. We utilize a traveling surgeon for our orthopedic surgical cases and we have multiple specialty clinics nearby if referral is needed. Pre-op lab work, IV catheters, and pain management are required for every patient and they are closely monitored by our experienced support staff. We also have two dental machines, allowing us to perform multiple dentals at a time.
Most importantly, we have an amazing support staff and we utilize them to the fullest! Our technician to doctor ratio is 3:1, which enables our doctors to be incredibly efficient and get out of work on time! 4 of our technicians are certified and the remainder are currently enrolled in veterinary technology programs. We currently have a 5- doctor practice looking to grow!
