Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Emergency Veterinarian (ER DVM). The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for providing emergency and critical care to pets, performing medical and surgical procedures, diagnosing illnesses, and creating treatment plans. The emergency veterinarian will also communicate with pet owners to educate them on their pet's health and treatments, work with a team of veterinary professionals, and ensure compassionate and comprehensive care for all patients.

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000+

Qualifications

       DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school

       Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Florida

       Minimum 1–2 years of emergency experience preferred (mentorship available for strong candidates with GP experience seeking ER transition)

       Experience in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine

       Strong diagnostic and surgical skills

       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

       Ability to work collaboratively with a veterinary team

       Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and clients

       Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

       Professionalism and commitment to continuous learning and development
