CareVet of Franklin and our sister hospital, CareVet of Atchafalaya have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Veterinarian to join our growing practices in Franklin and Morgan City, LA. This position offers base salary plus production, no negative accruals, no non-compete, 401k match and more!
Your Role as an Associate Veterinarian:
Due to growth in the area and an increasing demand for services, we are seeking an enthusiastic part-time Veterinarian to join CareVet of Franklin and CareVet of Atchafalaya's highly trained team! This is an amazing opportunity for a Veterinarian to be part of a team working in a family-like atmosphere, while maintaining personal balance and well-being. As a part-time Veterinarian, you will maintain schedule flexibility working between 20 and 29 hours per week. Ideally, this candidate will have surgical skills and an interest or experience with mixed animal practice.

Requirements
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with Team Members to provide high quality care
