Our Staff are trained in Fear-Free procedures and utilize them every day. Our Up-to-date equipment, 4:1 staff ratio, and our location allows for plenty of appointments daily. We generally do not handle emergencies. Our green-business model is progressing with our consistent medical updates and programs.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Feline Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong background in veterinary medicine, with a focus on providing high-quality care to felines. This role involves diagnosing and treating animal health issues, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper animal care. The Veterinarian will work closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure the well-being of our patients. We are looking for like minded passionate individuals that want to make a difference. A Feline Veterinarian who wants to grow the business and continue the Kitty Clinic Mission.

Duties

• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions in animals.

• Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of pet care.

• Administer vaccinations and medications according to established protocols.

• Utilize veterinary terminology and knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy in patient assessments.

• Provide guidance on animal husbandry, nutrition, and preventive care.

• Maintain accurate medical records.

• Collaborate with veterinary technicians in the handling and restraint of animals during examinations and procedures.

• Implement and follow Fear-Free and surgical protocols to minimize infection risks.

• Engage in laboratory work as necessary, including sample collection and analysis.

• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

• License to practice or experience is preferred but not mandated.

• Proficient in animal handling techniques, including cat handling and restraint methods.

• Strong knowledge of veterinary equipment and tools, anesthesia, and care protocols.

• Experience in diagnostic and surgical procedures and promoting a plus.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate pet owners about their pet’s health needs.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a compassionate approach towards animals.

• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners by providing exceptional veterinary care.
