| Parkside Animal Hospital is a thriving four-doctor small animal practice located on the northeast side of Indianapolis. We serve the Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel and Indianapolis area. Our hospital is open from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Associate Veterinarians evaluate each patient and formulate their own treatment plan that is best for the pet and the client. One is not more important than the other. We do not offer production-based salary, so Associates are not incentivized to sell additional services or products. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, have a desire to learn quickly and be a part of a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities of a veterinarian at Parkside include: - The Associate will be expected to work a combination of 8:00 AM-5 PM and 9 AM- 6PM shifts during the week and work 1 Saturday each month. Typical work week will be 35 hours/week.
- Medical and surgical responsibilities fitting a small animal veterinarian.
- Providing quality of care that fits with our values.
- Communicating with compassion and expertise to clients to be sure they feel informed and confident in the path they choose for their pet
- Developing a positive and empowered relationship with our veterinary technicians and support staff, all for the betterment of the overall practice environment and the quality of care provided.
Required education, experience, and interpersonal skills include: - DVM degree and current Indiana license.
- DEA license.
- One + year of experience as a small animal veterinarian is preferred. New graduates will also be considered for this position.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to seeing Parkside continue to thrive and a desire to be an ambassador for Parkside in the community.
