The Kentland Veterinary Clinic, LLP is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, associate veterinarian to join our team. As communication is a cornerstone of our practice, we strive to maintain excellent communication skills and caring attitudes. Our staff is committed to providing excellent client education as well as high standards of patient care and handling. Our practice is a mixed animal practice; however we focus primarily on small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and fear free experiences. We are equipped with digital radiography, isoflurane gas anesthesia, Midmark VetPro dental machine, and an Idexx Catalyst chemistry analyzer. We are currently a two doctor clinic with three full time and five part time support staff. The practice is located approximately 40 miles northwest of Lafayette, Indiana in a rural community. Candidates must be hard working and dedicated. Emergency responsibilities are shared among the veterinarians on a rotational basis. Candidates should be licensed to practice in Indiana and have a valid Federal Accreditation in order to perform vaccinations. We offer competitive wages based on experience. Candidates should have graduated from an accredited veterinary college or completed foreign graduate certification program. Federal accreditation, an Indiana veterinary license, an Indiana Controlled Substances Registration, and a DEA license are required to gain employment. If the candidate also plans to practice on farm animals, an Illinois veterinary license will be needed.
Additional Salary Information: Wages are based on experience and are negotiable.
